Welcome cocktail at Villa di Maiano, Astrid and Filippo's wedding weekend begins

An international couple who have chosen to inaugurate their wedding weekend with an exclusive party on the panoramic terrace of Villa di Maiano in Florence.

Often in fact, their desire is not only to get married in a context that fascinates them but to live and discover the territory together with friends and family and give way to those who come from afar to stay a few days. Astrid and Filippo, like many other couples, have chosen to inaugurate their wedding weekend in Florence with a welcome cocktail. She Swedish and he Italian, with friends and family from all over the world, wanted to start the event with a welcome party for all their guests and thank them for their participation. So, the team of Corsini Events organized a special party for them in an exceptional venue: Villa di Maiano, which immediately captured the hearts of the couple.

Exponents of the Swedish royal family, close to the bride for family ties, were also expected at the party. Vip guests therefore for whom privacy and security were important.

For the occasion, Villa di Maiano was at the center of an important light design that highlighted the iconic facade and the beautiful panoramic terrace. It was precisely the incredible view of Florence and its monuments that conquered Astrid and Filippo. The space was perfect for an outdoor party attended by 250 people. Furthermore, the villa and its rooms are an excellent shelter from paparazzi and onlookers.

We wanted to make the couple and their guests live a true Tuscan experience, so we thought of a country-chic tailor-made set-up with elements that are typically used in the Tuscan countryside such as wine barrels, aromatic herbs, tomatoes and other traditional products.
