Wedding Industry Meeting: news of the 2019 event

Corsini.Events Group is the planner of the Wedding Industry Meeting 2019. The event, now in its second edition, aims to bring together professionals and companies active in the Wedding sector in order to tell the best national wedding planners about the offer of the Tuscan territory. After the experience of the World Congress of Wedding Planners, in 2016, and the WIM event in 2018, the importance of an event of aggregation, education and updating for operators in the sector is reconfirmed for this year too.

Numbers of Destination Wedding in Italy

Years of activity in the Weddings & Events sector have allowed us to get to know the market and the professionals who, like us, operate there. Over time we have become promoters of this industry that is not recognized and considered, but that for the Italian territory is worth about € 1.5 billion. This data, elaborated by the Tuscan Tourism Studies Center based on its own research and on ISTAT sources, only considers marriages of foreign couples in Italy. To these must be added the couples formed by an Italian citizen and a foreign citizen, but also the Italian couples who choose to marry outside their own region or territory of residence. Assessing also the induced generated by these events, it is estimated that the Wedding Industry is worth over € 5.5 billion for Italy.

The event has the patronage and the contribution of the Tuscany Region, the City of Florence, the Chamber of Commerce of Florence, Toscana Aeroporti. On March 20 at Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte there will be over 50 wedding planners who have already confirmed their participation. Thanks to a matchmaking program, wedding planners will be able to meet and get to know suppliers of specialized services including various sponsors of the event, such as florists, catering, location, scheduled appointments throughout the day from 9:30 to 18:30.
