Benedetta and Luca, a young Italian couple divided between Milan and Florence, chose Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte as the backdrop for their most beautiful day, that of their wedding. A great event realized in September and with an autumn palette.
Autumn wedding in Florence
He from Milan and she from Florence, Luca and Benedetta crowned their dream of love on a beautiful September day surrounded by Tuscan landscapes. Honoring Benedetta’s Florentine origins, the couple chose to celebrate their big day in Florence with a religious ceremony at the Church of San Salvatore al Monte followed by a reception at Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte.
Benedetta and Luca’s event palette favored autumn colors such as burgundy, blue, light blue and silver green. The floral compositions were characterized by these shades and enriched with seasonal fruits such as berries, figs, berries and pomegranates.
Tuscan decorations for church and reception
The ceremony took place in the early afternoon. For the occasion, the church was decorated with olive trees and olive branches to celebrate the Tuscan nature of the bride and the beauty of the surrounding environment. Benedetta and Luca tied the knot in front of all their friends and relatives, a moment that moved and remained in the hearts of all present.
Afterwards, the couple welcomed their guests to Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte with an Tuscan-style aperitif offered in the beautiful setting of the Giardino all’Italiana di Meridione. The typical Tuscan countryside stretches all around, a panorama that enchanted guests and made the moment even more precious.
Wedding banquet with a Tuscan flavor
The party, which began outside, continued inside the villa with dinner served in the splendid gallery frescoed by Pandolfo Sacchi. 160 guests enjoyed the typical Tuscan delicacies that were offered during the banquet. The gallery is the most suitable room in Villa Corsini to accommodate many guests, it offers a beautiful view of the garden and the incredible atmosphere of a Renaissance setting with authentic period frescoes.
We have studied a bespoke mise en place with details in silver and crystal alternating with autumn floral compositions on the background of a denim-colored linen tablecloth.
Cake cutting with pyrotechnic effects
The cutting of the cake was held in the Giardino delle Pizzughe immediately after dinner. Benedetta and Luca cut the cake surrounded by pyrotechnic effects, really perfect to frame the moment and make it even more magical. At that point the couple gave a small bottle of Tuscan olive oil to all the guests as a favor in memory of the day. The wedding party continued inside with music and dancing throughout the night.
Being alongside Benedetta and Luca to realize this dream event has thrilled us a lot. Their desire to make Tuscany known to all guests has allowed us to give the best with suppliers and local products selected over years of experience.
